Setup Instructions

Attaching the Backing Disc

1. Ensure the polisher is unplugged from the power source.
2. Align the 6-inch backing disc with the spindle on the polisher.
3. Thread the backing disc onto the spindle, turning clockwise until secure. Use the provided spanner to tighten if necessary.

Attaching the Polishing Pads

1. Select the appropriate 7-inch polishing pad for your task (e.g., cutting, polishing, finishing).
2. Align the hook-and-loop side of the polishing pad with the backing disc.
3. Press firmly to ensure the pad is securely attached to the backing disc.

Attaching the Detachable D-Handle

1. Locate the attachment points on the front of the polisher.
2. Align the D-handle with these points.
3. Insert the bolts and tighten them using the provided hex wrench. The handle can be adjusted to various angles for optimal comfort and control.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off and Two-Step Activation

The polisher features a two-step activation switch to prevent accidental startup, ensuring safer operation.

1. To turn on, first push up the safety switch.
2. Then, press the power trigger.
3. To turn off, release the power trigger.

Variable Speed Control

The polisher offers 6 variable speed settings, ranging from 2000 to 6400 RPM, allowing for precise control based on the application.

• Speed 1-2 (Low): Ideal for applying wax, sealants, or glaze for ultra-smooth results.

Polishing Pad Usage

The kit includes three types of 7-inch polishing pads, each designed for specific applications:

• Blue: Cutting Pad (Coarse): For deep scratches and oxidation removal.
• Orange: Polishing Pad (Medium): For swirl and scratch correction, and gloss enhancement.
• Yellow: Finishing Pad (Fine): For final waxing and detailing.

Note: The 7-inch foam pads are designed to ensure the hard edge of the 6-inch backing disc does not scratch the car surface during rotation.

Maintenance

Cleaning Polishing Pads

After each use, it is recommended to clean the polishing pads to maintain their effectiveness and prolong their lifespan. Wash the pads in warm water with a mild detergent (e.g., dish soap). Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before storage.

General Care and Storage

• Always unplug the polisher before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
