4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly install your TARARIUM IX-90 filter:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and powered on, the filter will begin circulating and purifying water. The TARARIUM IX-90 features an adjustable flow control.

  • Adjusting Water Flow: Locate the adjustable knob on the top of the filter unit. Rotate the knob to increase or decrease the water flow rate according to your tank's needs and the preferences of your aquatic pets.

6. Maintenance

    • Disconnect power.
    • Remove the motor cover and carefully pull out the motor.
    • Check the spiral motor port for any blockages caused by debris. Clean the motor and impeller directly with water and a brush. Do not use detergent.
    • Reassemble the motor and cover.
