Introduction
This document provides instructions for the replacement remote control designed for specific NOMA Window Air Conditioner models. This remote is a dedicated replacement and may not support all functions of the original remote control. No programming or complex setup is required for its use.
Setup and Battery Installation
This replacement remote control requires no programming or complex setup. Simply install the batteries to begin operation.
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards or in the direction indicated by an arrow to open it.
- Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Button Functions
The remote control features several buttons for operating your NOMA Window Air Conditioner. Please note that as a replacement remote, some functions may not be identical to or supported by your original unit.
- Power Button (⏻): Turns the air conditioner On or Off.
- Temperature Up/Down (∧ / ∨): Adjusts the desired temperature setting.
- Fan: Cycles through fan speed settings (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- Mode: Changes the operating mode of the air conditioner (e.g., Cool, Dry, Fan, Auto).
- Dimmer: Adjusts the brightness of the air conditioner's display panel.
- Sleep: Activates or deactivates the sleep mode, which typically adjusts temperature for comfort during sleep and saves energy.
- Timer: Sets a timer for the air conditioner to turn On or Off automatically.
- Filter: Resets the filter indicator light after cleaning or replacing the air filter.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the remote control periodically with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
Battery Replacement
- Replace batteries when the remote's range decreases or it stops responding.
- Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA).
- Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new ones.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's receiver.
- Make sure you are within the effective operating range of the air conditioner.
- Some functions do not work:
- This is a replacement remote control. It may not support all advanced or specific functions of your original air conditioner remote. This is not a defect.
- Refer to your air conditioner's original manual for specific feature compatibility.
