1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Smartwatch

Before first use, fully charge your smartwatch. Connect the magnetic charger to the charging contacts on the back of the watch and plug the USB end into a compatible power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

3.2 Powering On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the side button until the screen illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the side button, then select 'Power Off' on the screen.

3.3 Pairing with Your Smartphone

To unlock the full functionality of your smartwatch, pair it with your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.3. Download the companion app (refer to the Quick Start Guide for app name) from your phone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your smartwatch.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Navigation

The smartwatch features a 1.8-inch touchscreen display. Swipe left, right, up, or down to navigate through menus and features. Tap to select an option. The side button typically acts as a home button or to return to the previous screen.

4.2 Bluetooth Calling

Once paired with your smartphone, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling. You can answer, reject, or make calls directly from your wrist.

4.3 Message Display

4.8 Music Control

Control music playback on your paired smartphone directly from your smartwatch, including play, pause, skip tracks, and volume adjustment.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the smartwatch and strap regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device. Ensure the charging contacts are clean and dry before charging.

5.2 Water Resistance (IP68)

The BEA·FON SMARTWATCH 101 has an IP68 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. It is suitable for activities like swimming in shallow water. However, it is not recommended for diving, high-pressure water activities, or exposure to hot water/steam, which can compromise the seal.

5.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the smartwatch in a cool, dry place. It is advisable to charge the battery to about 50% before long-term storage to preserve battery health.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your smartwatch, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to the magnetic charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on.
  • Cannot pair with smartphone:
    1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
    2. Make sure the smartwatch is within range of your phone.
    3. Restart both the smartwatch and your smartphone.
    4. Check the companion app for any specific pairing instructions or error messages.
  • Notifications not appearing:
