4.1. Tripod Assembly
- Unfold the tripod legs and extend them to your desired height. The tripod is adjustable from 20 to 46 inches.
- Ensure the tripod is stable on a flat surface. If on uneven terrain, adjust individual leg lengths for stability.
- The tripod head features a quick-release plate. Attach this plate to the tripod mount foot on the spotting scope.
4.2. Mounting the Spotting Scope
- Align the quick-release plate (attached to the scope) with the tripod head and secure it firmly.
- Loosen the tripod mount collar on the scope to rotate the scope body for comfortable viewing angles (45-degree angled eyepiece). Tighten the collar once the desired angle is achieved.
4.3. Attaching the Phone Adapter
- Secure your smartphone into the universal phone adapter.
- Carefully align your phone's camera lens with the adapter's opening.
- Attach the phone adapter securely over the eyepiece of the spotting scope. Ensure it is snug but do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Adjusting Magnification (Zoom)
- Rotate the Magnification Zoom Wheel (located on the eyepiece) to adjust the magnification from 25x to 75x.
- Start with lower magnification (25x) to locate your target, then gradually increase the zoom for more detail.

5.2. Focusing
- Use the Quick Focus Handwheel (located on the top of the scope body) to achieve a sharp image.
- Turn the wheel slowly until the image appears clear and crisp.
5.3. Eyecup Adjustment
- The twist-up eyecup allows for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses.
- Twist the eyecup up if you are not wearing eyeglasses.
- Twist the eyecup down if you are wearing eyeglasses to maintain the full field of view.
5.4. Using the Retractable Sunshade
- Extend the sunshade by pulling it forward from the objective lens housing.
- This helps reduce glare in bright conditions and protects the objective lens from rain or dust.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Lenses
- Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lens surfaces.
- For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics. Apply a small amount to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
- Avoid touching the lens surfaces with your fingers to prevent oil and dirt transfer.
6.2. Cleaning the Body
- Wipe the body of the spotting scope with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the rubber armor.
6.3. Storage
- Always replace the eyepiece and objective lens protective covers when not in use.
- Store the spotting scope in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid storing in areas with high humidity to prevent fogging or mold growth.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Blurry Image
- Ensure the Quick Focus Handwheel is properly adjusted for your viewing distance.
- Check that the eyepiece is clean and free of smudges.
- Verify that the magnification is not set too high for current lighting conditions.
7.2. Unstable View
- Ensure the tripod legs are fully extended and locked, and the scope is securely mounted.
- Check for any loose connections between the scope and the tripod.
7.3. Glare or Poor Contrast
- Extend the retractable sunshade to minimize glare from direct sunlight.
- Ensure the lenses are clean.
