Device Overview

Setup

1. Connect Audio Source:
   • For 3.5mm audio input: Connect your audio source (e.g., smartphone, laptop) to the 3.5mm TRS port on the BA-550T using the provided 3.5mm audio cable. Ensure the connectivity switch is set to the 3.5mm TRS position.
   • For 6.3mm audio input: Use the 6.3mm to 3.5mm adapter with the 3.5mm audio cable to connect to devices with a 6.3mm output. Ensure the connectivity switch is set to the 6.3mm TRS position.
   • For USB audio input: Connect the BA-550T to your computer or other USB audio source using the USB-C cable. Ensure the connectivity switch is set to the Charge & USB Audio position.
2. Power On: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button until the device powers on.
3. Initiate Bluetooth Pairing: Press the Bluetooth Connection button to enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth LED indicator will flash.

Operating

Audio Modes:

• 1-to-1 Classic/LE Audio Mode: In this mode, the transmitter connects to a single Bluetooth receiving device (e.g., one pair of headphones). This is the standard Bluetooth connection for private listening.
• 1-to-N Auracast Mode: This advanced mode allows the BA-550T to broadcast audio to an unlimited number of Auracast-enabled receiving devices simultaneously. This is ideal for group listening or public broadcasts. To activate, ensure your receiving devices support Auracast and are configured to listen for broadcasts.

Volume Control:

Use the Volume UP (+) and Volume DOWN (-) buttons on the transmitter to adjust the output volume. You may also adjust volume on your connected receiving device.

Battery and Charging:

The BA-550T provides up to 8 hours of total playtime. The battery LED indicator shows the charging status:

• Red: Low battery / No charge.
• Orange: Half charge.
• Green: Full charge.

To charge, connect the BA-550T to a power source using the USB-C cable. Charging typically takes up to 2 hours.
