Setup

1. Connecting the Mixer

The Yinker S6 mixer offers versatile connectivity options for various devices.

  • Power & Data Connection: Connect the mixer to your PC, PS5, or other compatible device using the provided USB-C to USB-C or USB-A to USB-C cable. This cable provides both power and data transfer for audio input/output.
  • Microphone Connection: For condenser microphones, connect via the XLR input. Ensure 48V phantom power is enabled on the mixer if your microphone requires it. For dynamic microphones, disable 48V phantom power.
  • Auxiliary Input/Output: Use the 3.5mm TRRS cable to connect external audio sources (e.g., phone, tablet) to the AUX IN port, or to send audio to other devices from the AUX OUT port.
  • Headphones: Connect your monitoring headphones to the dedicated headphone jack.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect a mobile device wirelessly for audio input:

  1. Press the BT button on the mixer to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
  2. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "Yinker S6" (or similar name).
  3. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the mixer will remain solid. You can now stream audio from your device to the mixer.

3. Software Compatibility

The Yinker S6 is compatible with popular streaming and recording software such as OBS, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, and YouTube. Ensure your operating system recognizes the mixer as an audio input/output device and select it within your software settings.

Operating Instructions

1. Controls Overview

The mixer features intuitive controls for managing your audio:

  • Mic Fader: Adjusts the volume level of your microphone.
  • Music Fader: Adjusts the volume level of background music or Bluetooth audio.
  • Mic Gain Knob: Fine-tunes the input sensitivity of your microphone.
  • Reverb Knob: Controls the amount of reverb effect applied to your voice.
  • Headphones Knob: Adjusts the overall monitoring volume for your headphones.
  • 48V Button: Toggles 48V phantom power for condenser microphones.
  • BT Button: Activates Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • Voice Change Button: Cycles through voice changer modes.
  • Loopback Button: Enables or disables audio loopback.
  • Direct Monitor Button: Toggles direct monitoring of your microphone input.
  • Noise Reducer Button: Activates the 3-stage noise reduction feature.

2. Voice Changer and Sound Pads

The mixer includes four voice changer modes and six customizable sound pads to add dynamic elements to your audio.

  • Voice Changer: Press the Voice Change button to cycle through Robot, Baby, Godzilla, and Default voice effects.

4. RGB Lighting Modes

    • Note: USB microphones are not supported directly by this mixer.
  • Bluetooth Connection Issues:

    • Make sure your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled and searching for devices.
    • Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
  • Buzzing Noise in Headphones:
    • Check for ground loop issues. Try connecting the mixer to a different USB port or power source.
    • Ensure all cables are properly shielded and not running parallel to power cables.
    • Adjust the Mic Gain and other volume levels to prevent clipping, which can introduce noise.
  • Settings Not Saving:
    • This mixer does not retain all settings after being powered off. Some settings, such as voice changer modes or specific sound pad assignments, may need to be re-applied upon each power cycle.
  • Xbox/USB Mics Not Supported:
    • The Yinker S6 mixer is not compatible with Xbox consoles or microphones that connect via USB.
