Maintenance
Cleaning the Keyboard
- Surface Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the surface of the keyboard. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Between Keycaps: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps. A small brush can also be used.
Keycap Removal and Replacement
The Aigo GD108 features durable PBT keycaps. If you need to remove keycaps for deep cleaning or replacement:
- Use a keycap puller (not included unless specified) to gently pull keycaps straight up.
- When replacing, align the keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
Switch Maintenance
The keyboard is equipped with Blue mechanical switches. These switches are generally low maintenance. If a switch feels inconsistent, it may be due to dust or debris. For hot-swappable models (check product specifications), switches can be carefully removed and replaced using a switch puller.
