3. Installation Guide
This device is designed for plug-and-play installation. However, careful attention to wiring and system settings is crucial for proper functionality. If you are unsure about any step, it is recommended to seek professional assistance.
3.1. Compatibility Check
Before installation, confirm your vehicle's NTG system version. This unit is compatible with NTG 4.5/4.7 systems. The image below illustrates the difference between compatible and incompatible systems based on the original radio unit and LVDS plug type.

3.2. Wiring Connections
Carefully follow the wiring diagrams provided. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly matched to avoid damage or malfunction.

3.3. Connecting CarPlay/Android Auto (Wired)
For wired CarPlay or Android Auto, use USB1 (data link). USB2 is for storage only.

3.4. AUX Connection
Insert the AMI cable directly. If your vehicle uses the original AUX (located in the manual gear position or passenger side storage box), ensure to turn off the AUX auto-switching setting in the system settings.

4. Operation
4.1. Dual System Switching
The unit allows for one-click switching between the new Linux system and your original car's NTG system. This ensures you retain all original vehicle functions while gaining access to modern infotainment features.

4.2. CarPlay and Android Auto
Access navigation, phone contacts, email, notifications, and music through voice commands (Siri or Google Voice Assistant) or touch interaction. This feature enhances driving safety by minimizing distractions.

4.3. Sound Customization (DSP)
The built-in DSP with 16 EQ segments allows for detailed adjustment of the overall sound quality. Use the EQ presets or customize settings to match your preferences, enhancing the music playback experience.
4.4. Automatic Light Sensitivity
The system automatically adjusts the screen brightness and display mode (day/night) based on your car's original headlight sensor, ensuring optimal visibility in various lighting conditions.

5. Settings
Access the 'Setup' menu to configure various aspects of the multimedia system.
5.1. OEM Resolution Setting
To ensure correct display of original car information, set the OEM screen resolution in the 'Car Settings' menu. Select the resolution that matches your original car's display.

5.2. OEM Camera Setting
In 'Car Settings', select the correct camera type ('Original' or 'Aftermarket') for your reverse camera to function properly.
5.3. AUX Activation and Auto Switch
If using the original AUX input, navigate to 'Car Settings' and ensure 'AUX Activation' is enabled and 'Auto Switch to AUX' is configured as needed.

6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter during installation or operation.
6.1. No Sound
If there is no sound after installation, ensure the fiber optic cables from your original car CD unit have been correctly transferred to the new Linux system harness. Refer to Video 3.1 for detailed instructions on fiber optic cable transfer.
6.2. Noise in Sound (Wired CarPlay/Android Auto)
If you experience distorted sound or noise when using wired CarPlay or Android Auto, connect the 'AB' cable as indicated in Figure 3.3.
6.3. Original Car Information Not Displayed Correctly
This issue often arises from an incorrect OEM resolution setting. Navigate to 'Car Settings' and select the resolution that precisely matches your original car's screen. Refer to Figure 5.1.
6.4. Reverse Camera Not Working
Ensure the correct camera type ('Original' or 'Aftermarket') is selected in the 'Reversing Settings' under 'Car Settings'. Refer to Figure 5.1.
6.5. General Issues / Technical Support
If you encounter problems such as installation difficulties, sound issues, CarPlay not functioning, or the original car UI not displaying, please contact technical support. Many issues can be resolved with proper guidance.
