Setup and Assembly

The VEVOR String Trimmer is designed for straightforward assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your trimmer for use.

Attaching the Shoulder Harness:

The shoulder harness provides enhanced comfort and reduces fatigue during extended use. Attach the harness to the sturdy bracket located just behind the handle.

Fuel Mixture:

This 2-stroke engine requires a specific fuel-to-oil mixture. Use a 40:1 fuel mixture (40 parts gasoline to 1 part 2-stroke oil) for optimal performance and engine longevity. The included fuel mixing bottle can assist with this. Alternatively, pre-mixed 2-stroke fuel can be used.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 550 ml (0.145 gal).

Operating Instructions

Starting the Trimmer:

Follow these steps for a quick and easy start:

1. Mix fuel and pour into the fuel tank.
2. Turn the switch to "On".
3. Prime the bulb 5-8 times.
4. Close the choke.
5. Pull the starter rope.
6. Once started, open the choke.
7. Use the handle switch to control the throttle.

Using the Trimmer:

The VEVOR String Trimmer offers two cutting options:

• Nylon String Head: Ideal for general lawn trimming and managing all types of grass effortlessly. The 16.93-inch cutting width allows for quick trimming.
• 3T Blade: The 255mm steel blade is effective for cutting through coarse grass, small shrubs, and thicker brush.

The trimmer features an automatic line feed system. Simply bump the mechanism on the ground to automatically reel out more line and maintain the correct length.

Safety Features:

The trimmer is equipped with a high-safety throttle guard to prevent accidental starts. There is also a kill switch located directly on the handle for immediate shutdown.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your VEVOR String Trimmer.

• Fuel Management: Always use the correct 40:1 fuel mixture. Store fuel in a cool, dry place and do not use stale fuel.
• Cleaning: After each use, clean the cutting head and shield to remove grass clippings and debris.
• Blade/String Inspection: Regularly inspect the 3T blade for sharpness and damage. Check the nylon string head for wear and replace the string as needed.
• Storage: The quick-release split shaft design allows for easy disassembly and compact storage. Store the trimmer in a dry, secure location away from children and flammable materials.
