Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically requires two adults. Please follow the steps below carefully. It is recommended to assemble the bed in the room where it will be used.
Tools Required (Not Included):
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Rubber Mallet (optional, for gentle tapping)
Assembly Steps:
- Step 1: Unpack and Identify Parts.
Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a rug or blanket) to prevent scratching. Identify each part by comparing it to the parts list in your physical manual. Note that some wooden pieces may not be alphabetically labeled, requiring careful identification based on shape and pre-drilled holes.

- Step 2: Assemble the Bed Frame.
Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Do not fully tighten all bolts until the entire frame is assembled to allow for minor adjustments.

Figure 3: Illustrates the connection points for the bed frame components.
- Step 3: Install the Ladder.
Securely attach the ladder rails to the designated points on the bed frame. Ensure the ladder steps are firmly in place and level. The ladder is designed with wider steps for easier climbing.

Figure 4: Detail of the sturdy ladder construction.
- Step 4: Attach the Slide.
Connect the slide panels to the bed frame according to the instructions. Ensure the slide is securely fastened and stable. The slide features a smooth panel for safe and fun descent.

Figure 5: The slide securely attached to the bed frame.
- Step 5: Place the Slats.
Lay the 13 poplar plywood slats across the bed frame supports. Ensure they are evenly spaced and secured if attachment points are provided. These slats provide strong stability and eliminate the need for a box spring.

- Step 6: Final Tightening.
Once all components are in place and aligned, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten. Ensure the bed is stable and does not wobble.
Operating Instructions
The Bellemave Twin Loft Bed is designed for safe and enjoyable use. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Using the Ladder: Always use the integrated ladder to access and exit the loft bed. Ensure hands and feet are dry to prevent slipping.
- Using the Slide: The slide is for single-user descent only. Ensure the landing area at the bottom of the slide is clear of obstructions and other children before sliding. Slide feet first.
- Weight Capacity: Adhere to the recommended weight capacity for the loft bed to ensure safety and structural integrity. (Refer to Specifications section for details).
- Supervision: Young children should always be supervised when using the loft bed, especially the slide and ladder.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and safety of your Bellemave Twin Loft Bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the bed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the lacquered finish.
- Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all bolts, screws, and connections. Tighten any loose hardware to ensure the bed remains stable and secure.
- Structural Integrity: Check for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage to the wooden components. If significant damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Mattress Care: Rotate and flip the mattress regularly according to mattress manufacturer guidelines to ensure even wear.
Troubleshooting

|---|---|---|
| Bed wobbles or feels unstable. | Loose hardware. | Check and tighten all bolts and screws. Ensure the bed is on a level surface. |
