4. Assembly Instructions

The Campior Kick Scooter comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare it for use:

  1. Unfolding the Scooter: Locate the quick-lock buckle mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem. Press the folding button and gently unfold the scooter until it locks securely into the upright position. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged.
  2. Attaching Handlebars: The handlebars may be folded down for shipping. Lift the handlebar stem to its upright position. Secure the handlebar grips by ensuring they are firmly in place.

5. Adjusting the Handlebar Height

The Campior Kick Scooter features a 3-level adjustable handlebar to accommodate various rider heights. The available heights are 35", 37", and 39".

  1. Locate the quick-release clamp on the handlebar stem.
  2. Open the quick-release clamp.
  3. Press the spring-loaded button on the side of the stem and slide the handlebar up or down to your desired height. Ensure the button clicks into one of the pre-drilled holes for secure locking.
  4. Close the quick-release clamp firmly to secure the handlebar in place. Verify that the handlebar does not wobble or slide.

6. Folding and Unfolding

The scooter's compact design allows for easy folding and portability.

6.1. Folding the Scooter

  1. Ensure the handlebar is at its lowest setting (refer to Section 5).
  2. Locate the quick-lock buckle at the base of the handlebar stem.
  3. Press the folding button and gently push the handlebar stem downwards and backward until the scooter folds into a compact position. Ensure it locks securely.

6.2. Unfolding the Scooter

  1. Hold the scooter firmly.
  2. Press the folding button and gently pull the handlebar stem upwards and forwards until the scooter clicks into the upright riding position.
  3. Verify that all locking mechanisms are fully engaged before riding.

7. Operating Instructions

Before riding, ensure you have read and understood all safety information.

  1. Starting: Place one foot firmly on the deck of the scooter. Use your other foot to push off the ground, gaining momentum.
  2. Riding: Once you have sufficient momentum, place both feet on the deck, one behind the other. Maintain balance and steer by gently turning the handlebars.
  3. Turning: Lean gently in the direction you wish to turn while slightly turning the handlebars.

8. Braking

The Campior Kick Scooter is equipped with a rear foot brake that also features a brake light for enhanced visibility.

  1. To engage the brake, gently press your heel down on the rear fender brake.
  2. Apply gradual pressure to slow down smoothly. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds, as this can lead to loss of control.
  3. The integrated brake light will illuminate when the brake is applied, increasing your visibility to others.
