Unit Components

The main unit features a top-mounted LED touch control panel, adjustable air louvers, and a side exhaust port for the hose. The remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance.

Setup and Installation

Unit Placement

  • Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired room.
  • Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  • Position the unit near a window for exhaust hose installation and a grounded power outlet.

Window Kit Installation

The included window kit is designed for both horizontally and vertically sliding windows, suitable for windows 20 to 60 inches in length.

  1. Prepare the Window Kit: Adjust the window seal plates to fit your window opening. Secure them using the provided butterfly screws.
  2. Connect Exhaust Hose: Attach the hose inlet and outlet adapters to both ends of the exhaust hose.
  3. Attach to Unit: Insert one end of the exhaust hose (with adapter) into the exhaust port on the rear of the portable AC unit.
  4. Attach to Window: Insert the other end of the exhaust hose (with adapter) into the opening of the installed window seal plate. Ensure a tight seal to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
  5. Seal Gaps: Use the foam seal provided to seal any gaps around the window kit to maximize efficiency.

Control Panel and Remote Control

The control panel features an LED display showing the current temperature and mode. Buttons include ON/OFF, Mode selection, Fan Speed, Timer, Temperature Up/Down, and Auto Swing. The remote control duplicates these functions for convenience.

Powering On/Off

  • Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

Mode Selection

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the following modes:

  • Cool Mode: For cooling the room. Set desired temperature using the Up/Down buttons (61°F - 88°F).
  • Heat Mode: For heating the room. Set desired temperature using the Up/Down buttons.
  • Dehumidification (Dry) Mode: Reduces humidity in the air. Fan speed is automatically controlled.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Choose fan speed.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates quietly at a low fan speed to maintain a comfortable temperature for sleeping.
  • Smart Mode: The unit automatically selects between Cool and Fan modes based on the ambient room temperature.

Temperature and Fan Speed Adjustment

  • Use the Up and Down buttons to adjust the desired temperature in Cool or Heat mode (range: 61°F - 88°F).
  • Press the FAN SPEED button to select High, Mid, or Low fan speed in Cool or Fan mode.

Timer Function

  • Press the TIMER button to set a delayed start or stop time (up to 24 hours). Use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the hours.

Auto-Swing Function

  • Press the SWING button to activate or deactivate the automatic oscillation of the air louvers, distributing air evenly. The swing angle is approximately 45°-75°.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your portable air conditioner.

Filter Cleaning

  • The unit features a washable filter. It is recommended to clean the air filter every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
  • To Clean:
    1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
    2. Locate the air filter panel (usually on the back or side of the unit).
    3. Remove the filter.
    4. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
    5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not expose to direct sunlight or high heat.
    6. Reinstall the dry filter and close the panel.

Drainage

    1. Unplug the unit.
    2. Locate the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit.
    3. Place a shallow pan or tray beneath the drainage port.
    4. Remove the drain plug/cap.
    5. Allow all accumulated water to drain completely.
    6. Replace the drain plug/cap securely.

Seasonal Storage

  • Before storing the unit for an extended period, run it in Fan mode for a few hours to dry out the interior.
  • Drain any remaining water from the unit.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Cover the unit with a plastic bag or cloth to protect it from dust.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
