Welcome to the Apexcam Action Camera M80 user manual. This guide provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your new action camera. The M80 is designed to capture high-quality 4K/60FPS videos and 48MP photos, featuring 8X digital zoom, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a robust waterproof design for various adventures.

Setup
Battery Installation and Charging
Before first use, ensure the batteries are fully charged. The camera comes with two 1350mAh rechargeable batteries and a dual battery charger that also functions as a MicroSD card reader.
- Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the camera by pushing the latch outwards.
- Insert a charged battery into the camera, ensuring the slot faces the screen, and push it inwards until it clicks into place.
- To charge the batteries, insert them into the provided charging case. Connect the charging case to a USB power source using the USB-C cable. The indicator lights on the charger will show the charging status.

MicroSD Card Installation
The camera supports MicroSD cards up to 64GB. A 64GB card is included in your package.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot next to the battery compartment.
- Insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card inwards until it pops out.
Waterproof Case Usage
The included waterproof case allows the camera to be submerged up to 40 meters (131 feet), making it ideal for water sports and underwater recording.
- Ensure the camera is dry before placing it into the waterproof case.
- Open the latch on the top of the case and gently place the camera inside.
- Close the latch securely, ensuring a tight seal. Always test the case without the camera first to ensure it is waterproof.

Mounting Accessories
The camera comes with a variety of mounts for different activities. These include helmet mounts, a handlebar mount for bikes, and adhesive pads for flat surfaces.

Operating the Camera
Basic Operation
The camera features a touchscreen for easy navigation. You can also use the physical buttons on the side and top of the camera.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the top of the camera.
- Mode Selection: Tap the mode icon on the touchscreen or use the power button to cycle through Video, Photo, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Self-Timer, and Photo Lapse modes.
- Shutter/OK: Press the shutter button on the top to start/stop recording or confirm selections.
Remote Control
The included 2.4G remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance of up to 15 meters. Note: The remote is not waterproof.
- Ensure the remote control function is enabled in the camera's system settings.
- Press the video button on the remote to start/stop video recording.
- Press the photo button on the remote to take photos.
