1. Safety Information

  • Always disconnect the pump from the power source before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

  • The pump is designed for water removal only. Do not use it for pumping chemicals, oils, or other hazardous liquids.
  • The built-in temperature control core prevents the motor from dry burning when in short of water, protecting the pump from damage. However, avoid prolonged dry running.

4. Setup

Setting up your Acquaer submersible pump is straightforward:

  1. Attach the Adapter: The pump is equipped with a 1'' NPT discharge. For garden hose compatibility, attach the provided 3/4" garden hose check valve adapter to the pump's discharge port. Ensure it is securely tightened to prevent leaks.

  3. Connect the Hose: Connect a standard garden hose to the attached adapter. Route the hose to a suitable drainage area, ensuring it is free of kinks or obstructions.
  4. Position the Pump: Place the pump in the area where water needs to be removed. The bottom suction design allows the pump to remove water down to a depth of 1/4''. Ensure the pump is stable and not obstructed by debris.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the 10 ft three-prong power cord into any standard 115V wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The Acquaer pump features an automatic on/off function for convenient operation:

  • Automatic Activation: The built-in smart electronic sensor automatically turns the pump on when 1-1/2'' of water is detected.
  • Automatic Deactivation: The pump turns off automatically when the water level falls below 1/4''.

The pump is capable of moving up to 2160 gallons per hour, making it efficient for various applications such as:

  • Storage: When not in use, store the pump in a dry, protected area away from extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your pump, consider the following:

  • Pump Not Turning On: Check the power connection. Ensure the water level is above 1-1/2'' for automatic activation. Inspect the strainer for clogs.
  • Pump Not Turning Off: If the pump does not turn off, remove the pump and check to make sure that water or other debris is not still contacting the sensor probes.
  • Reduced Flow: Check the discharge hose for kinks or blockages. Ensure the strainer is clean.
  • Unusual Noise: Disconnect power and check for any foreign objects lodged in the impeller area.
