4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Automatic Recording (Loop Recording)
Once powered on, the dash cam automatically begins recording. It uses loop recording, overwriting the oldest files when the SD card is full. Important footage can be protected from being overwritten by the G-sensor or manual lock.

4.2. G-Sensor & Collision Lock
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements or impacts. In such events, the dash cam automatically locks the current recording, preventing it from being overwritten. This ensures critical evidence is preserved.

Image: This graphic demonstrates the collision lock function, which automatically saves and protects important video footage during sudden impacts, ensuring crucial evidence is retained for accident reports or claims.
4.3. Parking Monitoring (Requires Hardwire Kit)
With an optional hardwire kit (ASIN: B08LL4L87C), the dash cam can monitor your vehicle while parked. It supports AOV low-energy time-lapse recording for up to 8 days and can extend monitoring up to 20 days in sleep mode, waking instantly to capture anomalies.

4.4. ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems)
The integrated ADAS provides voice alerts for enhanced driving safety. Features include a front vehicle start-moving reminder (alerts when the car ahead moves) and a fatigue driving reminder (suggests taking a rest after continuous driving).

6.2. Cleaning the Lens
Gently wipe the dash cam lens with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust or smudges. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the lens coating.
6.3. Firmware Updates
Periodically check for firmware updates via the DDPAI App. Keeping your dash cam's firmware up-to-date ensures you have the latest features and performance improvements.
