7. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Onemake Soft Close Damper operates automatically. When closing a cabinet door, the damper mechanism engages to slow down the door's movement just before it reaches the cabinet frame, ensuring a gentle and quiet close. This eliminates the loud noise associated with slamming doors and reduces wear and tear on your cabinetry.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Damper does not fit: Verify that your hinges are Full Overlay Hinges and meet the exact dimensions specified in Section 5. The damper is not compatible with Half Overlay or Inset hinges.
  • Door still slams or closes too quickly: Ensure the damper is fully and securely clipped into the hinge. Check for any obstructions preventing the damper from engaging properly. If multiple dampers are installed on a single door, ensure they are all functioning correctly.
  • Damper feels loose: Re-check the hinge opening dimensions. If the opening is slightly larger than 9.5mm, the damper may not sit as snugly. Ensure the damper is fully seated.
