6. Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the sculpture before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe down the surfaces.
- For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure the product is completely dry before plugging it back in.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the materials and finish.
Storage
- After the holiday season, carefully disassemble the sculpture if necessary, following the assembly steps in reverse.
- Store the sculpture in its original packaging or a suitable storage container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the power cord is neatly coiled and not kinked or damaged during storage.
7. Troubleshooting
Lights Not Illuminating
- Check Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional electrical outlet.
- Check Fuse: The plug contains a fuse. If the lights do not work, the fuse may be blown. Unplug the unit, open the fuse compartment on the plug, and replace the fuse with a spare of the same type and rating.
- Inspect Bulbs: While the product uses steady-on lights, individual bulbs can still fail. Check for any loose or broken bulbs and replace them with the provided spares.
- Inspect Wiring: Carefully examine the wiring for any cuts, frays, or loose connections. If damage is found, discontinue use.
