Introduction
The JBL Charge 6 portable Bluetooth speaker delivers bold Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost, offering up to 28 hours of playtime. Designed for durability, it is waterproof, dustproof, and drop-proof. It also features a built-in power bank for charging mobile devices and supports multi-speaker connection with Auracast™-enabled JBL speakers for an expanded audio experience.

Setup
1. Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge your JBL Charge 6 speaker. The charging time is approximately 3 hours. A standard USB-C cable (not included) can be used for charging.

2. Powering On/Off
Press the power button (⏻) located on the top panel to turn the speaker on or off. The power button will illuminate when the speaker is active.

3. Bluetooth Pairing
To pair with a new device, press the Bluetooth button (Ⓑ) on the top panel. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode. Select "JBL Charge 6" from your device's Bluetooth settings.
4. Auracast™ Pairing
For multi-speaker connection, press the Auracast™ button (◬) on the top panel. This allows you to effortlessly stereo pair two Charge 6 speakers for a wider sound stage or connect multiple Auracast™-enabled JBL speakers to cover more ground with the same playlist.

5. Attaching the Carrying Strap
The JBL Charge 6 comes with a sturdy, removable carrying strap. Attach the strap to the designated loops on either end of the speaker for easy portability.

Operating the Speaker
1. Controls
The top panel features raised playback controls: Volume Down (-), Play/Pause (▶), and Volume Up (+).
2. AI Sound Boost
The new proprietary AI Sound Boost technology analyzes your music in real-time to deliver maximum acoustic performance with less distortion, ensuring full, rich, immersive sound.
3. USB-C Audio (Lossless)
The JBL Charge 6 now supports lossless audio playback over a wired USB-C connection. Connect your device directly to the speaker's USB-C port for high-fidelity audio.
4. Powerbank Functionality
Utilize the built-in power bank to charge your mobile devices directly from the speaker. Simply connect your device to the USB-C port on the back of the speaker.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean your JBL Charge 6, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the speaker's finish or fabric. Ensure the USB-C port is dry before charging.
2. Storage
Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to maintain battery health.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the speaker is fully charged. If the issue persists, try using a different USB-C cable and power adapter.
- No Sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is properly paired via Bluetooth or connected via USB-C.
- Distorted Sound: Reduce the volume on both the speaker and your device. If using AI Sound Boost, ensure it's optimizing correctly. Check for any physical obstructions on the speaker's drivers.
- Bluetooth Connectivity Issues: Ensure the speaker is within range (up to 30 feet). Try unpairing and re-pairing the speaker with your device. Clear your device's Bluetooth history and restart both devices.
- Cannot Connect Multiple Speakers (Auracast™): Ensure all speakers are Auracast™-enabled. Follow the pairing instructions carefully for multi-speaker connection.
