Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure your tap is compatible with the provided adapters. The filter is designed for one-click installation after the correct adapter is fitted.
- Identify Tap Type: Determine if your tap has an internal or external thread, or if the aerator cannot be removed.
- Select Correct Adapter:
- For external thread taps (approx. 23/24mm): Use external adapters A1 (D23*1.25mm) or A2 (D24*1mm).
- For internal thread taps (approx. 22mm): Use internal adapters B1 (D22*1.25mm) or B2 (D22*1mm).
- For taps where the aerator cannot be removed (15-21mm diameter): Use multi-function adapter C with adapter B2.
- Install Adapter: Remove your tap's existing aerator. Screw the selected adapter onto your tap securely.
- Attach Filter Unit: Align the filter unit with the installed adapter and push it on until it clicks into place. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Check for Leaks: Turn on the tap slowly and check for any leaks around the connection point.
Important: This filter cannot be used with square thread, oval thread, spray-style, pull-out style, smart sensor taps, or taps with a length less than 10mm.

Operating Instructions
The Philips Water Ontap Filter features a selector for different water flow modes and a digital display to monitor filter life.
- Selecting Water Flow: Use the lever or button on the filter unit to switch between the three available water current settings:
- Filtered Stream: For pure drinking water and cooking.
- Unfiltered Stream: For general washing and cleaning where filtration is not required.
- Unfiltered Shower Stream: For rinsing dishes or hands with a wider spray.
- Digital Display: The digital display shows the remaining filter capacity in liters (e.g., "1000"). This number will count down as filtered water is used. When the display reaches "0", it indicates that the filter needs replacement.
