The CARPRO WheelX is a professional 1-step wheel and tire cleaner designed to effectively remove ferrous particles, road grime, dirt, brake dust, and grease. This formula is safe for use on OEM, CARPRO coated, chrome, and powder-coated wheels, as well as calipers and wheel wells. It provides a thorough cleaning for regular maintenance or coating preparation.

Safety Information

• Not for use on bare aluminum: Discoloration may occur. If required, proceed with caution. In the event of discoloration, polish with Metallicut by hand or machine to restore finish.
• Avoid direct sunlight and hot surfaces: Do NOT use CARPRO WheelX in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
• Rinse promptly: Do NOT allow the product to dry on the surface. Rinse off in less than 5 minutes.
• Do not mix: Do not mix with other chemicals.
• Test in an inconspicuous area: Always test in an inconspicuous area before widespread use.
• Wear protective gear: Wear eye and skin protection.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Setup

1. Ensure the wheels are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight.
2. Rinse the wheels thoroughly with water to remove loose dirt and debris.
3. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves and eye protection.

Operating Instructions

Application Steps:

1. Spray WheelX: Apply a generous amount of CARPRO WheelX directly onto the wheel and tire surface. Ensure full coverage.

2. Allow to Dwell: Let the product dwell for 2-3 minutes. The formula will react with iron particles, turning purple as it works. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.

3. Agitate (Optional, for heavy grime): For heavily soiled wheels, gently agitate the product with a soft wheel brush or mitt.

4. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the wheels and tires completely with a strong stream of water, ensuring all product residue is removed.

5. Dry (Optional): For best results and to prevent water spots, dry the wheels with a clean microfiber towel.

Troubleshooting

• Discoloration on bare aluminum: If discoloration occurs on bare aluminum surfaces, polish the affected area with a suitable metal polish (e.g., Metallicut) by hand or machine to restore the finish.
• Product drying on surface: If the product accidentally dries on the surface, re-wet the area with more WheelX or water and immediately rinse thoroughly.
• Ineffective cleaning: For extremely heavy contamination, a second application or light agitation with a soft brush may be necessary.
