Setup and Assembly

This kitchen island cart requires assembly. All necessary hardware and a detailed instruction manual are included in the packaging. Please follow the step-by-step instructions provided to ensure correct and safe assembly.

1. Unpack all components and verify against the parts list in the assembly manual.
2. Identify all hardware and tools required for assembly.
3. Assemble the main frame according to the diagrams.
4. Install drawers, cabinets, and adjustable shelves as instructed.
5. Attach the rubber wood top and drop leaf mechanism.
6. Securely fasten all casters, ensuring the two lockable wheels are correctly positioned.
7. Perform a final check to ensure all connections are tight and the unit is stable.

Operation

Using the Drop Leaf:

To extend the drop leaf, simply lift it until it clicks into place, supported by the integrated mechanism. To fold it down, release the latch (if applicable) and gently lower the leaf. Ensure no items are on the leaf when folding.

Utilizing Storage:

The cart features 3 drawers and 3 cabinets. The cabinet shelves are adjustable; to change their height, remove the shelf, reposition the support pins to the desired holes, and place the shelf back. Use the spice rack and towel bar for convenient access to frequently used items.

Mobility and Stability:

The 5 universal casters allow for easy movement of the cart. To secure the cart in a stationary position, engage the locks on the two lockable wheels. To move the cart, disengage the locks.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish. For the rubber wood top, use a wood-safe cleaner.
• Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining, especially on the wood top.
• Hardware: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain stability.
• Casters: Keep casters free of debris to ensure smooth movement. Lubricate if necessary.
• Avoid Excessive Weight: Do not exceed the stated weight capacities for the top (400 lbs), drop leaf (33 lbs), or individual shelves (75 lbs).
