2. Setup
Connecting Your Keyboard:
The Z-686 keyboard offers three versatile connection options: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB-C. Choose the method that best suits your device and preference.

- 2.4G Wireless Connection:
- Locate the switch on the left side of the keyboard.
- Slide the switch to the '2.4G' position.
- Plug the included 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically connect.
- Bluetooth Connection:
- Slide the switch on the left side of the keyboard to the 'BT' position.
- Press and hold FN + Q, FN + W, or FN + E for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode for BT1, BT2, or BT3 respectively. The corresponding key will flash rapidly.
- On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, or phone), open Bluetooth settings and search for 'Z-686'.
- Select 'Z-686' to pair. The key will stop flashing once connected.
- You can connect up to three Bluetooth devices and switch between them by pressing FN + Q, FN + W, or FN + E.
- Wired USB-C Connection:
- Ensure the switch on the left side of the keyboard is in the 'OFF' position.
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
- Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will be recognized automatically.

3. Operating Instructions
RGB Backlight Control:
The Z-686 keyboard features a fully customizable RGB backlight with multiple preset modes. You can adjust the lighting directly from the keyboard.

- Change Backlight Mode: Press FN + \| to cycle through the 20 preset RGB backlight modes.
- Adjust Brightness: Press FN + ↑ to increase brightness and FN + ↓ to decrease brightness.
- Adjust Flow Speed: Press FN + ← to decrease flow speed and FN + → to increase flow speed.
- Customize Individual Key Colors: For advanced customization, use the dedicated programming software.
Programming and Customization:

- Use the included switch puller to carefully grip and pull the switch straight out.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and gently push it in until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
- Replace the keycap.
