1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Information

Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death. Always ensure the safety of your child by adhering to the guidelines below:

• SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants can suffocate in gaps between an extra mattress and the side of the bassinet, or on soft bedding. Use ONLY the mattress provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• FALL HAZARD: To prevent falls, do not use this product once the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached the maximum weight of 50 kg (110 lbs), whichever comes first.
• Always ensure the bassinet is placed on a firm, horizontal surface.
• Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
• Regularly check all fasteners for tightness. Do not use the bassinet if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken.
• Do not modify the bassinet or use accessories not approved by the manufacturer.
• Keep the bassinet away from open flames, heaters, and other sources of strong heat.
• Ensure all wheels are locked when the bassinet is stationary or in co-sleeper mode.
• When using as a bedside sleeper, ensure the bassinet is securely attached to the adult bed and there are no gaps between the bassinet and the adult mattress.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the NIKYJM Baby Bassinet requires careful attention to detail. Please follow these steps sequentially.

1. Unpack Components: Remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
2. Assemble Frame: Connect the metal frame tubes according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly sheet (if included) or by matching corresponding connectors. Ensure all connections click securely into place.
3. Attach Wheels: Insert the four universal wheels into the designated slots at the base of the frame. Ensure they are firmly seated.
4. Install Fabric Basket: Drape the fabric bassinet basket over the assembled frame, securing it with any clips, zippers, or Velcro straps as indicated. Ensure the mesh window is correctly positioned.
5. Place Mattress: Insert the provided mattress into the bottom of the fabric bassinet. Ensure it fits snugly without gaps.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Height Adjustment

The bassinet offers 6 adjustable height levels to match various bed heights, ranging from 35.5 cm to 51.5 cm (distance from the bottom of the cradle to the ground). To adjust the height:

• Locate the height adjustment buttons on both sides of the bassinet frame.
• Press and hold the buttons simultaneously.
• Raise or lower the bassinet to the desired height level. Release the buttons to lock the bassinet into position. Ensure both sides are set to the same level.

5.2. Tilt Function (Anti-Reflux)

The bassinet can be tilted by approximately 5 degrees to help prevent reflux and vomiting in infants. This is achieved by setting one side of the bassinet to a higher level than the other.

• Adjust one side of the bassinet to a higher height setting than the other side using the height adjustment buttons (refer to Section 5.1).
• Ensure the tilt is gentle and safe for the baby. A 5-degree tilt is recommended.

5.3. Mobility and Locking Wheels

The bassinet is equipped with four universal wheels for easy movement between rooms. Each wheel has a locking mechanism.

• To Move: Ensure all wheel locks are disengaged. Gently push the bassinet to the desired location.
• To Secure: Once the bassinet is in position, press down on the locking levers on all four wheels until they click into place. This prevents unintended movement.

5.4. Co-Sleeper Mode (Bedside Sleeper)

To use the bassinet as a bedside sleeper, allowing your baby to sleep safely next to you:

• Adjust the bassinet height to match your adult bed mattress height (refer to Section 5.1).
• Unlock the wheels and position the bassinet flush against your adult bed.
• Engage all wheel locks to secure the bassinet in place.
• Lower the side panel of the bassinet that is adjacent to your bed. Ensure it is fully lowered and secured.
• Use the provided attachment straps (if included) to securely fasten the bassinet to your adult bed frame. Ensure there are no gaps between the bassinet and your mattress.

5.5. Standalone Bassinet Mode

For standalone use, ensure both side panels are raised and securely locked. The bassinet can be moved to any desired location within your home, with the wheels locked for stability.

5.6. Gentle Rocking Function

The bassinet features a micro-arc soothing design that allows for gentle rocking. To activate this function, ensure the wheels are unlocked and gently push the bassinet from side to side. This motion can help soothe your baby to sleep.

5.7. Folding for Portability

The bassinet is designed to be foldable for easy transport and storage. To fold the bassinet:

• Remove the mattress and any other accessories.
• Locate the folding mechanisms on the frame (usually levers or buttons).
• Follow the specific folding sequence as indicated by the manufacturer (often involves collapsing the side supports inwards).
• Once folded, place the bassinet into the provided carrying bag for convenient travel.

5.8. Storage Basket Use

The integrated storage basket beneath the bassinet provides convenient space for baby essentials such as diapers, wipes, or blankets. Ensure items are placed securely and do not exceed the basket's weight capacity.

6. Maintenance and Care
