1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your Gemmy Orchestra of Light 24 LED Multi-Function Multicolor 18-inch Hanging Snowflake. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use, and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

WARNING:

4. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Snowflake: Carefully remove the snowflake from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
2. Choose a Location: Select a suitable indoor or outdoor location for hanging. Ensure the location is protected from extreme weather conditions and has access to a power outlet. The snowflake is designed for outdoor use.
3. Hang the Snowflake: Use the integrated hanging loop/cord to securely suspend the snowflake. Ensure it is hung at a height where it will not be easily disturbed or damaged.

4. Connect to Power: Plug the 5.5-ft white power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is suitable for outdoor use if placed outdoors (e.g., GFCI protected).

5. Connect to Orchestra of Lights Hub (Required for App Control): If you intend to use the app control and synchronization features, ensure your Orchestra of Lights Indoor WiFi Hub is set up and connected to your home network. Refer to the Hub's instruction manual for setup details.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

Once plugged in, the snowflake will illuminate with a default light pattern. To access its full range of features, including hundreds of color and effect combinations, app control is required.

5.2 App Control and Synchronization

1. Download the App: Download the free "Orchestra of Lights" app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
2. Connect to Hub: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Orchestra of Lights Indoor WiFi Hub.
3. Add Snowflake: Within the app, add your 18-inch Hanging Snowflake to your Orchestra of Lights setup. The app will guide you through the process of discovering and pairing the device.
4. Customize Effects: Use the app to select from dozens of color and lighting effects. You can customize patterns, colors, and brightness.
5. Synchronize: The snowflake will synchronize with other Orchestra of Lights products connected to the same hub, creating a unified light show.

5.3 Music and Beat Detection (Optional)

To enjoy music and beat detection features (6 built-in holiday songs or your own music via Bluetooth), at least one Orchestra of Lights product with speaker capability (e.g., Projection Set With Speaker or Universal Virtuoso Speaker) is required. This snowflake itself does not have speaker capabilities.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect from power before cleaning. Wipe the snowflake with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the snowflake in its original packaging or a protective container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord and the snowflake for any signs of damage, such as frayed wires or cracked plastic. Do not use if damaged.
