4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The camera operates on 6 AA batteries. For optimal performance, use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries. Lithium batteries are recommended for cold weather conditions.
- Open the camera's front cover by unlatching the side clasp.
- Locate the battery compartment on the side of the camera.
- Insert 6 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
4.2 SD Card Installation
A Class 10 or higher SD card (up to 512GB) is required for storing images and videos.
- With the camera open, locate the SD card slot.
- Insert the SD card into the slot with the label facing forward until it clicks into place.
- To remove the SD card, press it gently until it springs out, then pull it out.

4.3 Mounting the Camera
The camera is designed for tree mounting using the included strap or a compatible mounting accessory.
- Select a sturdy tree or post at the desired height (typically 3-6 feet off the ground).
- Thread the mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
- Securely fasten the strap around the tree, ensuring the camera is stable and pointed towards the desired area.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the camera, slide the power switch (located inside the camera, near the screen) to the "ON" position. To power off, slide the switch to "OFF".
