5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your disc sander before initial use.

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all accessories listed in the "Product Accessories" section are present.
2. Placement: Place the sander on a stable, level workbench. The shock-absorbing foot pads should provide stability.
3. Secure (Optional): If desired, use the desktop fixing holes to permanently mount the sander to your workbench for added stability during heavy use.
4. Attach Sandpaper:
   • Ensure the machine is unplugged.
   • Peel the backing from a new 75mm sandpaper disc.
   • Carefully align and press the sandpaper onto the sandpaper suction cup (sanding disc) until it is firmly attached and centered.
5. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the sander and then plug the adapter into a suitable 110V-240V power outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

2. Adjust Speed: Use the speed control on the power adapter to select the desired output speed, ranging from 2000 to 6000 revolutions per minute (r/min). Start with a lower speed for delicate work and increase as needed for more aggressive material removal.
3. Sanding Technique:
   • Hold the workpiece firmly against the stainless steel workbench.
   • Gently bring the workpiece into contact with the rotating sandpaper disc.
   • Apply even, light pressure. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can overheat the motor, damage the workpiece, or wear out the sandpaper prematurely.
   • Move the workpiece smoothly across the disc to ensure even sanding and prevent grooves.
4. Material Compatibility: This sander is suitable for polishing and grinding various materials including wood, plastic, ceramic tiles, glass, stone, and metal.

7. Maintenance

• Clean After Use: Always unplug the machine before cleaning. Use a brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the motor housing, workbench, and around the sanding disc.
• Sandpaper Replacement: When the sandpaper becomes worn, clogged, or loses its abrasive quality, replace it with a new 75mm disc. Ensure the machine is unplugged before changing sandpaper.
• Inspect Power Cord: Periodically check the power cord and adapter for any signs of damage. If damaged, have it repaired by a qualified technician.
• Motor Ventilation: Ensure the motor's ventilation slots are clear of obstructions to prevent overheating.
• Storage: Store the sander in a clean, dry place, out of reach of children.
