Setup and Connectivity

The QQH Z12-3 Portable Monitor offers versatile connectivity options for various devices. Ensure your device supports video output via USB-C (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) or HDMI.

Connecting to Laptops/PCs (USB-C)

For laptops with a full-featured USB-C port (supporting both power and video transmission), a single USB-C to USB-C cable is sufficient for both power and display.

1. Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to your laptop's full-featured USB-C port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to one of the Full Function Type-C ports on the QQH monitor.
3. The monitor should automatically detect the signal and display your laptop's screen.

Connecting to Laptops/PCs (HDMI & USB-A)

If your laptop does not have a full-featured USB-C port, you can use the HDMI and USB-A cables for video and power, respectively.

1. Connect the provided mini HDMI to HDMI cable from your laptop's HDMI port to the mini-HDMI port on the QQH monitor.
2. Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable from your laptop's USB-A port (or a power adapter) to one of the Full Function Type-C ports on the QQH monitor for power.
3. Ensure the monitor receives adequate power for optimal performance.

Connecting to Smartphones/Gaming Consoles

The monitor is compatible with various smartphones and gaming consoles. For smartphones, a full-featured USB-C port is required for direct connection. Older iPhones (before iPhone 15) may require a Lightning to HDMI adapter (not included).

Operating Modes

The QQH Z12-3 Portable Monitor supports multiple display modes to suit your needs:

• Extend Mode: Extends your desktop workspace across two screens, ideal for multitasking.
• Duplicate Mode: Mirrors your primary screen, useful for presentations or sharing content.
• Second Screen Mode: Uses the portable monitor as a dedicated second display for specific applications or gaming.
• Portrait Mode: Allows the monitor to be used vertically, beneficial for coding, document viewing, or social media feeds. Note: Automatic rotation is not supported; manual adjustment may be required in your device's display settings.

Troubleshooting

Q1: Why is the portable monitor flickering?

• Check USB-C or mini HDMI Port Connection. Poor contact can cause the screen to flicker.
• Please check the cable you are using is working properly. Perhaps a broken cable will cause the monitor to flicker.
• Ensure that the monitor has an adequate and stable power supply. Insufficient and unstable power supply can cause the monitor to flicker.

Q2: The display shows "No Signal or Power Saving"

• Check if your device is compatible with QQH portable monitor.
• Check if the monitor and your device both are in the "ON" mode.
• Make sure the cable is properly connected between the QQH monitor and your device.
• Make sure you are using the included cable. If you change another cables, please ensure it's HDMI 2.0 or the USB-C cable support USB 3.1 above.
