Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. The battery icon on the LCD screen will flash if the battery is low. Fully charge the unit if necessary.

  1. Prepare the Opening: Outline the area to be cut on your coop wall. The recommended opening size is 9.45 inches wide by 10 inches high.
  2. Create the Opening: Use appropriate tools to carefully create the outlined opening in your chicken coop.
  3. Mount the Door: Position the chicken coop door unit over the opening. Secure it using the provided screws (x8). It is recommended to use a manual screwdriver to avoid over-tightening, which can misalign the door panel.
