4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Initial Opening
Upon first use, or if the batteries are depleted, you will need to use the emergency key to open the safe.
- Locate the keyhole cover on the keypad.
- Gently remove the keyhole cover.
- Insert one of the emergency keys into the keyhole.
- Turn the key clockwise while simultaneously rotating the knob clockwise to open the door.
4.2 Battery Installation
The safe requires 4 AA batteries (not included) for the electronic keypad to function.
- Open the safe door using the emergency key (if not already open).
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
4.3 Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, the safe can be bolted to a wall or floor using the pre-drilled holes and included expansion screws.

- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe onto the wall or floor.
- Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit.
- Insert the expansion screws into the drilled holes.
- Align the safe with the screws and secure it tightly.
5. Operating Instructions
The safe can be opened using a digital code, an emergency key, or the emergency battery box.

5.1 Setting the User Code
The user code is a personal code for daily access. It can be 3 to 8 digits long.
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door (usually near the hinge). The yellow light on the keypad will flash twice.
- Input your desired new user code (3 to 8 digits).
- Press the '#' key to confirm. The yellow light will flash twice, and you will hear two buzzer beeps, indicating successful code setting. If the yellow light flashes three times with three beeps, the code change was not effective; please try again.
5.2 Setting the Master Code
The master code provides an additional layer of security and can also be 3 to 8 digits long.
- With the safe door open, press '00' then press the red reset button. The yellow light on the keypad will flash twice.
- Input your desired new master code (3 to 8 digits).
- Press the '#' key to confirm. The yellow light will flash twice, and you will hear two buzzer beeps, indicating successful code setting. If the yellow light flashes three times with three beeps, the code change was not effective; please try again.
5.3 Opening the Safe with Digital Code
- Enter your user code or master code on the keypad.
- Press the '#' key. The green light will illuminate.
- Within 5 seconds, rotate the knob clockwise and pull the door open.
5.4 Using the Emergency Battery Box
If the internal batteries are depleted and you cannot open the safe with the digital code, use the emergency battery box.
- Insert 4 AA batteries into the emergency battery box.
- Plug the emergency battery box into the port located at the bottom of the keypad.
- Enter your user code or master code and press '#'. The green light will illuminate.
- Within 5 seconds, rotate the knob clockwise and pull the door open.
5.5 Silent Mode
To enable or disable keypad sounds for discreet operation:

- To Turn On Silent Mode: Press '*' and then press '633'.
- To Cancel Silent Mode: Press '*' and then press '66'.
5.6 Wrong Password Locking and Alarm Alert
The safe features a smart warning alarm system to deter unauthorized access.
- If three consecutive wrong passwords are entered, the keypad will be locked for 20 seconds automatically. During this time, any input is ineffective.
- If six consecutive wrong passwords are entered, the keypad will be locked for 5 minutes automatically, and the safe will constantly beep during this time.
- To stop the alarm during a lockout, you can use the emergency key to open the safe and remove the batteries. The beep will stop.
5.7 Internal Lighting
The safe is equipped with an intelligent lighting design. As soon as you open the lock box with the numeric keypad, the light will illuminate for 30 seconds, then slowly dim and go out automatically.

- Keyhole Maintenance: Keep the keyhole free of dust and debris. Do not lubricate the lock mechanism.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Safe Does Not Open with Code
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Use the emergency battery box if needed.
- Verify you are entering the correct user or master code.
- If the keypad is locked due to multiple wrong entries, wait for the lockout period to expire.
- Use the emergency key as a backup.
7.2 Alarm Sounds Continuously
- This indicates multiple incorrect code entries. The keypad will be locked for a period (20 seconds or 5 minutes).
- To silence the alarm immediately, open the safe with the emergency key and remove the batteries.
7.3 Code Cannot Be Set
- Ensure the safe door is open when attempting to set a code.
- Make sure the yellow light flashes twice after pressing the reset button. If it flashes three times, the previous attempt was unsuccessful.
- Ensure the new code is between 3 and 8 digits.
