4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge both grinders. Connect the provided USB charging cables to the charging port on each grinder and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show red during charging and turn blue when fully charged.

4.2 Filling the Grinder

1. Twist the transparent spice container counter-clockwise to detach it from the motor unit.
2. Fill the container with your desired whole spices (e.g., peppercorns, sea salt). Do not overfill.
3. Align the container with the motor unit and twist clockwise to secure it firmly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the side of the grinder to turn it on or off. The LED indicator will light up when the grinder is active.

5.2 Grinding Spices

Once powered on, simply tilt the grinder downwards (past 0 degrees) to activate the gravity sensor. The grinder will automatically start grinding. Tilt it upright to stop grinding.

5.3 Adjusting Grinding Speed

The grinder features two grinding speeds. Long press the power button for 2 seconds to switch between speeds:

• Low Speed (Green LED): Suitable for sea salt and other softer spices.
• High Speed (Blue LED): Ideal for peppercorns and harder spices.

6. Adjusting Grinding Coarseness

To adjust the coarseness of the grind, locate the adjustment knob at the bottom of the grinder. Turn the knob clockwise for a finer grind and counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. There are 5 levels of coarseness available.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

7.1 Auto-Reverse Cleaning

The grinder is equipped with an automatic reverse cleaning function. After grinding stops, the grinding head will reverse for approximately 1.5 seconds to clear any residual spice and prevent clogs. This helps maintain optimal performance and extends the lifespan of the motor.

• Ensure the grinder is turned off before cleaning.
• Detach the spice container from the motor unit.

• Wipe the exterior of the grinder with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
• The spice container can be rinsed with water, but ensure it is completely dry before reattaching to the motor unit.
