5. Installation Guide
Important: Installation should only be carried out by a qualified plumber or electrician in compliance with all local regulations and safety standards.
5.1 Choosing an Installation Location
- The water heater is designed for under-sink installation in kitchens or bathrooms.
- Ensure the location is stable, level, and can support the weight of the unit when full of water (approx. 11.7 kg / 25.8 lbs).
- Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation and maintenance.
- The unit must be installed vertically. Do not install horizontally or at an angle.
- Ensure there is a grounded electrical outlet nearby.

5.2 Plumbing Connections
- Turn off the main water supply before beginning any plumbing work.
- Connect the cold water inlet (blue marking) to your cold water supply line. It is recommended to install a shut-off valve on the cold water inlet for future maintenance.
- Connect the hot water outlet (red marking) to the hot water faucet.
- Install the pressure relief valve (if included and required by local codes) on the cold water inlet line or as specified in the local regulations.
- Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free. Use appropriate sealing tape or compound.

5.3 Filling the Tank
Before connecting to power, the water heater tank must be completely filled with water.
- Open a hot water faucet in your sink.
- Slowly turn on the main water supply.
- Allow water to flow from the hot water faucet until all air is purged from the tank and a steady stream of water flows.
- Close the hot water faucet.
- Check all plumbing connections again for leaks.
5.4 Electrical Connection
- Ensure the water heater is completely filled with water before connecting to power. Operating the unit dry will cause damage.
- Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet (220-240V, 50-60Hz).
- Do not use adapters or extension cords.

Depending on your water hardness, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the tank and on the heating element, reducing efficiency. Descaling should be performed by a qualified technician.
- Turn off power and water supply to the unit.
- Drain the water heater completely.
- Access the heating element and tank interior (this may require specialized tools and knowledge).
- Carefully remove any scale buildup.
- Reassemble and refill the unit before restoring power.
7.3 Pressure Relief Valve Check (If applicable)
If a pressure relief valve is installed, it should be checked periodically (e.g., every six months) to ensure it is not blocked and operates correctly. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific valve.
