1. Product Overview

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully unpack all components from the box. The package should include the Nikon Z 50II camera body and accessories. Inspect all items for any signs of damage.

2.2 Charging the Battery

The camera uses an EN-EL25a battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery using the supplied charger (MH-32) or via the camera's USB-C port. The battery weighs approximately 30 grams.

2.3 Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

  1. Open the battery chamber cover located at the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the charged EN-EL25a battery, ensuring it clicks into place.
  3. Locate the memory card slot (compatible with SD cards). Insert an SD card until it clicks. The camera has 1 memory card slot and supports up to 256 GB capacity.
  4. Close both covers securely.

2.4 Attaching a Lens

The Nikon Z 50II uses the Nikon Z mount. Align the mounting mark on the lens with the mounting mark on the camera body, then rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it clicks into place. Ensure the camera is powered off before attaching or detaching lenses.

2.5 Initial Power On and Basic Settings
