1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Wurkkos FC11C LED Flashlight. This compact and powerful flashlight is designed for everyday carry (EDC) and various outdoor activities. It features a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) LED, USB-C recharging, a magnetic tailcap, and durable construction. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not shine the flashlight directly into eyes.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Ensure the battery is inserted with correct polarity.
  • Do not disassemble the flashlight head as this may damage the LED and void the warranty.
  • Avoid exposing the flashlight to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the tailcap of the flashlight.
  2. Remove the insulation plate from the battery's positive terminal.
  3. Insert the rechargeable lithium-ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
  4. Screw the tailcap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.

5.2 Initial Charge

It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use. Refer to Section 7 for detailed charging instructions.

6. Operating Instructions

The FC11C uses a single side switch for all operations.

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Turn On/Off: Single click the side switch. The flashlight will turn on at the last used brightness level (mode memory).
  • Change Brightness: When the flashlight is ON, press and hold the side switch to cycle through brightness levels (Low-Medium-High). Release the switch to select the desired level.

6.2 Special Modes

  • Moonlight Mode: From OFF, press and hold the side switch for approximately 1 second. Release to activate.
  • Turbo Mode: Double-click the side switch from ON or OFF to activate Turbo mode. Double-click again to return to the previous brightness level.
  • Strobe Mode: Triple-click the side switch from ON or OFF to activate Strobe mode. Single click to turn off.

6.3 Electronic Lockout

To prevent accidental activation, the FC11C features an electronic lockout function.

  • Lock: From OFF, rapidly click the side switch 4 times. The flashlight will flash once to indicate it is locked.
  • Unlock: From locked state, rapidly click the side switch 4 times. The flashlight will flash once and turn on at the last used brightness level.

6.4 Magnetic Tailcap

The integrated magnetic tailcap allows the flashlight to be securely attached to metal surfaces for hands-free illumination, ideal for tasks like vehicle maintenance or working in confined spaces.

7. Charging

The Wurkkos FC11C features a built-in USB-C charging port for convenient recharging of the included lithium-ion battery.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the flashlight body.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the flashlight and to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
  3. The indicator light on the side switch will illuminate RED to indicate charging is in progress.
  4. Once charging is complete, the indicator light will turn GREEN.
  5. Disconnect the charging cable when fully charged.

The indicator will also flash RED when the battery power is less than 15% during operation, signaling that recharging is needed.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Cleaning

  • Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Periodically clean the threads and O-rings with a clean cloth. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings to maintain water resistance.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

8.2 Battery Care

  • If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place.

8.3 Water Resistance

The FC11C is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Ensure all parts are tightly screwed before exposure to water.
