Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the dehumidifier to prevent injury or damage to the unit.

• Ensure the power supply matches the specifications of the unit (115V/60Hz).
• Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged power cord or plug.
• Keep the unit away from heat sources, flammable materials, and water.

5. Setup

5.1 Positioning the Dehumidifier

• Place the dehumidifier on a level, stable surface.
• Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of clear space around all sides of the unit for proper air circulation.
• Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

5.2 Connecting the Drain Hose

The dehumidifier features a built-in pump for continuous drainage. Connect the provided drain hose for automatic water removal.

1. Locate the drain outlet on the unit.
2. Attach the quick connector of the 26.2 ft drain hose to the drain outlet. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent leaks.
3. Direct the other end of the drain hose to a suitable drainage point, such as a floor drain, sink, or bucket. The pump can lift water up to 16 ft vertically.
4. Ensure the hose is not kinked or obstructed, which could impede drainage.

5.3 Power Connection

• Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet.
• Do not use extension cords or adapters.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Control Panel Overview

The dehumidifier features an intuitive digital display and touch buttons for easy control.

• Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
• Up/Down Buttons: Adjust humidity settings or timer duration.
• Mode/Setting Button: Cycles through different modes or confirms settings.

6.2 Initial Operation

1. Press the Power button to turn on the dehumidifier.
2. The display will show the current room humidity.
3. Use the Up/Down buttons to set your desired humidity level (range: 10% - 90% RH). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached.

6.3 Timer Function

The timer function allows you to set a delayed start or stop time for the dehumidifier.

1. Press the Timer button.
2. Use the Up/Down buttons to set the desired delay time in hours (0-24 hours).
3. The unit will automatically turn on or off after the set time.

6.4 Auto Defrost Function

The dehumidifier is equipped with an auto defrost function. If frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the unit will automatically enter defrost mode to melt the frost, ensuring efficient operation. During defrost, the compressor may temporarily stop, and the fan may continue to run.

7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The MERV-8 filter should be cleaned regularly, typically every 2-4 weeks depending on usage and air quality.

1. Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
2. Locate the air filter access panel (refer to Figure 3).
3. Remove the filter.
4. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it gently with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
6. Reinsert the dry filter and close the access panel.

7.2 Cleaning the Exterior

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.

7.3 Storage

• If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry.
• Drain any remaining water from the hose.
• Wrap the power cord and drain hose using the integrated straps for neat storage.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
