5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

  1. Before first use, fully charge the hair clipper.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging base and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
  3. Place the hair clipper onto the charging base. The LED display will indicate charging status.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours, providing up to 180 minutes of runtime.

5.2 Attaching Guide Combs

  1. Ensure the clipper is turned off before attaching or detaching guide combs.
  2. Select the desired guide comb length (e.g., 1.5mm, 3mm, etc.).
  3. Align the guide comb with the clipper blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  1. Turn on the clipper by pressing the power button. The LED display will illuminate.
  2. Adjust the taper lever on the side of the clipper to select one of the 5 fine-tuning lengths (0.8mm to 3.0mm).
  3. For longer cuts, attach one of the 8 metal guide combs.
  4. Begin cutting hair against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.
  5. Use smooth, overlapping strokes.
  6. Regularly check the LED display for battery level and oil reminder.
  7. After use, turn off the clipper and clean it as described in the Maintenance section.

6.2 Achieving Fade Effects

The taper blade is specifically designed for creating seamless fade transitions. Start with a longer guide comb or open taper lever at the top of the fade area, gradually reducing the length as you move downwards. Use the adjustable taper lever for precise blending between different lengths.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Blades

  1. Turn off and unplug the clipper before cleaning.
  2. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove loose hair from the blades and the clipper body.
  3. For a more thorough clean, you may carefully detach the blade assembly (refer to specific instructions if available, otherwise proceed with caution).
  4. Do not rinse the entire clipper under water. The blades can be wiped with a damp cloth, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.

7.2 Oiling the Blades

  1. After each use, or when the oil reminder appears on the LED display, apply a few drops of the provided lubricating oil to the blades.
  2. Turn on the clipper for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly across the blades.
  3. Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth. Regular oiling ensures smooth operation and extends blade life.

8. Troubleshooting
