2. Safety Instructions

Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the dehumidifier to prevent injury or damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label.
• Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug.
• Always place the dehumidifier on a stable, level surface.
• Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) clearance around the unit for proper airflow.
• Do not insert objects into the air inlet or outlet.
• Unplug the unit before cleaning, maintenance, or when not in use.
• Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation. The child lock feature can be activated for added safety.
• Do not use the unit in areas with flammable or explosive gases.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

• Carefully remove the dehumidifier and all accessories from the packaging.
• Verify that all components are present: Dehumidifier unit, power cord holder, drainage hose, drainage adapter, and user manual.
• Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.

3.2 Placement

Position the dehumidifier in a location where it can effectively circulate air and collect moisture. The unit is equipped with four swivel casters and an integrated handle for easy movement.

• Place the unit on a firm, level surface.
• Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the air inlet and outlet for optimal performance.
• Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas exposed to splashing water.
• The dehumidifier is suitable for various rooms including bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and closets.

3.3 Drainage Options

The dehumidifier offers two drainage methods: manual emptying of the water tank or continuous drainage via a hose.

3.3.1 Manual Drainage (Water Tank)

• The unit is equipped with a 4.7L removable water tank.
• When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off and emit an alert.
• To empty, gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
• Pour out the collected water.
• Slide the empty tank back into its position until it clicks securely.

3.3.2 Continuous Drainage

For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, use the provided drainage hose.

• Locate the drainage outlet at the back of the unit.
• Unscrew the cover of the drainage pipe.
• Install the drainage adapter.
• Insert the provided drainage hose into the adapter.
• Ensure the hose is directed downwards to a suitable drain or container, allowing gravity to facilitate water flow. The hose must have a continuous downward slope to prevent water backup.

4. Operating Instructions

The dehumidifier can be controlled via its integrated touch panel or through the Tuya Smart app on your smartphone.

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The intuitive touch panel allows for easy adjustment of settings.

4.2 Power On/Off

• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Press the Power button on the control panel or in the app to turn the unit on or off.

4.3 Setting Desired Humidity

• Press the Humidity Setting button (often indicated by an up/down arrow or '%' symbol) to adjust the target humidity level.
• The digital display will show the current humidity and allow you to set the desired range between 30% and 80% Relative Humidity (RH).
• The unit will operate until the set humidity level is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.

4.4 Operating Modes

Press the Mode button to cycle through the available operating modes:

• Normal Mode: Standard dehumidification based on your set humidity level.
• Continuous Mode: The unit will run continuously regardless of the humidity level, ideal for very damp conditions or drying clothes.
• High Mode: Operates at maximum fan speed and dehumidification for rapid moisture removal.
• Ventilation Mode: Circulates air without active dehumidification, useful for air purification.

4.5 Fan Speed

• Press the Fan Speed button to switch between High and Low fan speeds.

4.6 Timer Function

• Press the Timer button to set an auto-on or auto-off time from 0 to 24 hours.
• Each press increases the time by one hour.

4.7 Air Purification

This dehumidifier includes an antibacterial filter and an ion generator to improve air quality.

• The air purification function operates alongside dehumidification or in Ventilation Mode.
• It helps filter small particles, dust, pollen, and reduces odors.

4.8 Child Lock

• Activate the Child Lock feature to prevent accidental changes to settings.
• Refer to the control panel diagram for the specific button or combination to activate/deactivate.

4.9 Wi-Fi and App Control

The dehumidifier can be controlled remotely using the Tuya Smart app.

• Download the Tuya Smart app from your smartphone's app store.
• Follow the in-app instructions to connect your dehumidifier to your home Wi-Fi network.
• Once connected, you can remotely power on/off, set target humidity, change modes, and monitor humidity levels.

4.10 Automatic Defrost

The unit features an automatic defrost function to maintain performance in cold conditions.

• If the ambient temperature drops below 0°C (32°F), the unit will automatically activate defrost mode to prevent frost buildup on the coils.
• During defrost, the dehumidification process will temporarily pause.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

5.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The dehumidifier is equipped with a reusable and washable antibacterial filter.

• It is recommended to clean the air filter every two weeks or when the filter cleaning reminder illuminates.
• Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
• Remove the filter cover from the back or side of the unit.
• Gently pull out the filter.
• Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
• Do not operate the dehumidifier without the filter installed.

5.2 Cleaning the Water Tank

• Clean the water tank periodically to prevent mold and mildew growth.
• Remove the tank as described in Section 3.3.1.
• Wash with mild detergent and water, then rinse thoroughly.
• Ensure the tank is completely dry before placing it back into the unit.

5.3 Exterior Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.
