Operating Instructions

Manual Operation

The single handle on the side of the faucet controls both water flow and temperature:

  • Water Flow: Lift the handle to turn on the water. The further you lift, the greater the flow. Push down to turn off.
  • Temperature Control: Move the handle left for hot water and right for cold water.

Infrared Sensor Operation (Touchless)

For hands-free convenience, the faucet features an infrared motion sensor:

  • Activation: Wave your hand within 10 cm (approximately 4 inches) of the sensor located at the base of the faucet. The water will turn on within 0.5 seconds.
  • Deactivation: Wave your hand in front of the sensor again to turn off the water.
  • Automatic Shut-off: To conserve water, the faucet will automatically turn off after 3 minutes of continuous flow if no further motion is detected.
  • Low Battery Indicator: The sensor control box will provide an indication when the batteries are low, reminding you to replace them.

Pull-Out Sprayer and Water Flow Modes

The pull-out sprayer offers enhanced flexibility and three distinct water flow modes:

  • Pull-Out Function: Grasp the sprayer head and pull it out from the spout. The hose extends up to 60 cm (approximately 23.6 inches), providing extensive reach for cleaning the sink or filling pots. The faucet also features a 360° swivel for full sink access.
  • Mode Selection: Use the button(s) on the sprayer head to switch between the three modes:
    • Spray Mode: A wide, powerful spray for rinsing dishes and cleaning.
    • Stream Mode: A steady, aerated flow for everyday tasks like filling glasses or pots.
    • Sweep Mode: A strong, blade-like water flow for stubborn food residue.
  • Retraction: When finished, gently guide the sprayer head back into the spout. The counterweight will assist in smooth retraction.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Faucet: To maintain the chrome finish, clean regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for chrome. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots.
  • Cleaning the Sprayer Nozzles: If water flow becomes irregular, the sprayer nozzles may be clogged. Gently rub the rubber nozzles to dislodge mineral deposits. For more stubborn clogs, unscrew the sprayer head and soak it in a vinegar solution.
  • Battery Replacement: When the low battery indicator activates, replace the 4 AA batteries in the battery box. Ensure the faucet is off before replacing batteries.
  • Sensor Maintenance: Keep the infrared sensor window clean and free from obstructions to ensure reliable touchless operation.
