2. Setup Instructions
2.1. Unpacking and Component Check
Before beginning assembly, unpack all components and verify that all parts are present according to the packing list. The tent includes the main tent body, a hand-operated air pump, canopy support poles, ground stakes, and guy ropes.

2.2. Tent Installation (Inflatable)
- Unfold the Tent: Lay the tent body flat on a clean, level surface.
- Locate Inflation Valves: Identify the inflation valves on the tent's air beams. Ensure all valves are securely closed before inflation.
- Inflate the Tent: Connect the hand-operated air pump to the main inflation valve. Begin pumping air into the tent. The tent features a rapid inflation system designed for quick setup.
- Monitor Pressure: The recommended pressure range for the tent's air beams is 5.5-6.5 PSI. Do not over-inflate.
- Secure the Tent: Once inflated, use the provided ground stakes and guy ropes to secure the tent firmly to the ground.

2.3. Connecting to Vehicle
The tent features a channel cloth designed to connect securely to the rear of your SUV. This creates a seamless extension from your vehicle to the tent.
- Position the Tent: Align the tent's vehicle attachment sleeve with the rear of your SUV.
- Attach the Sleeve: Secure the sleeve around your vehicle's rear hatch using the integrated straps and buckles. Ensure a snug fit to prevent gaps.
- Adjust for Fit: For larger vehicle models, you can open the zipper on the channel cloth to adjust the tail size, ensuring a proper seal.
- Secure to Vehicle: Use additional straps to hook onto car door handles and wheels for enhanced stability, especially in windy conditions.

3. Operating the Tent
3.1. Dual-Use Functionality
The JOYTUTUS SUV Tent offers flexibility:
- SUV Mode: Connect the tent to your vehicle for extended living space and direct access to your car's storage.
- Standalone Mode: Detach the tent from your vehicle to use it as a traditional ground tent, allowing you to drive away while leaving your camp set up.
3.2. Awning Setup
The tent includes two integrated awnings that can be set up for additional shade and shelter. Use the provided canopy support poles and guy ropes to extend and secure the awnings in your desired configuration.

3.3. Ventilation and Access
The tent features dual doors and multiple mesh windows to enhance ventilation and provide easy access. The mesh screens keep insects out while allowing airflow. The main tent area offers a 6.6 ft peak height for comfortable movement.

4. Maintenance
4.1. Cleaning
Clean the tent with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the fabric or waterproof coating. Ensure the tent is completely dry before packing to prevent mold and mildew.
4.2. Storage
To pack up the tent, deflate all air beams and fold the tent neatly. Store all components in the provided tent storage bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

4.3. Waterproofing
The tent is constructed from durable 600D Oxford fabric with a 1200PU coating. All seams are sealed and taped to provide superior waterproof protection. The woven polyethylene bottom further ensures a dry interior.

5. Troubleshooting
- Tent Not Inflating Properly: Check all inflation valves to ensure they are securely closed. Verify that the pump hose is properly attached to the valve.
- Tent Instability: Ensure all ground stakes are firmly inserted into the ground and guy ropes are taut. For vehicle attachment, double-check all straps securing the tent to the car.
- Water Leakage: While the tent is designed to be waterproof, inspect seams and zippers for any damage or improper closure. Ensure the rainfly (if applicable) is correctly positioned.
