Setup

1. Assembly

1. Place the main unit on a flat, stable surface.
2. Attach the food dish to the front of the main unit by aligning the slots and pushing it firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Place the food storage bucket onto the main unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
4. Open the food bucket lid and ensure the desiccant pack is in its compartment. Replace the desiccant pack every 1-2 months for optimal freshness.

2. Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply for continuous operation:

The feeder can be powered by a DC 5V power adapter (via USB cable) or by 3 D-type batteries for backup.

• DC 5V Power Adapter (Primary): Connect the USB power cable to the feeder's power port and plug it into a DC 5V power adapter (not included) connected to a wall outlet.
• 3*Type D Batteries (Backup): For power outage protection, insert three D-type batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Ensure correct polarity.

3. Filling the Food Container

Open the food bucket lid and pour dry pet food into the transparent storage bucket. The 4L capacity allows for several weeks of feeding. Close the lid securely using the buckle to maintain freshness.

Operating Instructions

The LCD screen and control buttons allow for easy programming of your feeder.

The feeder supports up to 6 meals per day, with up to 15 portions per meal, and has a 4L food capacity. Recommended kibble size is 3-13mm.

1. LCD Screen Overview

The LCD screen displays the current time, programmed meal times, and portion settings. Use the buttons below the screen to navigate and adjust settings.

2. Setting Current Time

1. Press the "SET" button to enter time setting mode. The hour digit will flash.
2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press "SET" again to move to the minute digit. Adjust with "+" and "-".
4. Press "SET" to confirm and exit time setting.

3. Setting Meal Times and Portions

You can program up to 6 meals per day, with 1 to 15 portions per meal.

1. Press the "MEAL" button to cycle through meal settings (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6).
2. When a meal (e.g., M1) is selected, its time will flash. Use "+" and "-" to set the desired feeding time (hour and minute).
3. Press "MEAL" again to move to the portion setting for that meal. The portion number will flash.
4. Use "+" and "-" to adjust the number of portions (1-15). Note: The actual amount of food per portion may vary slightly based on kibble size. Adjust as needed.
5. Repeat for all desired meals (M1-M6). If a meal is not set, it will not dispense food.
6. Press "SET" to save settings and exit programming mode.

4. Manual Feeding

To dispense food manually, press and hold the "MANUAL" button. The feeder will dispense one portion of food. Release the button to stop.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning of the feeder.

The food bucket and food dish are detachable for easy cleaning. Remember, the main base unit should not be washed with water.

• Detachable Components: The food storage bucket and food dish can be easily detached from the main unit. Wash them with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
• Main Unit: Wipe the main unit (base with control panel) with a soft, damp cloth. Do not wash the base directly with water or immerse it.
• Ensure all parts are completely dry before refilling with food or reconnecting power.

2. Desiccant Pack Replacement

The desiccant pack helps keep food fresh. It is recommended to replace it every 1-2 months, or more frequently in humid environments.
