Proper fit is essential for the collar's effectiveness and your dog's comfort.

  • Thread the nylon strap through the receiver unit.
  • Place the collar around your dog's neck, ensuring the contact points are positioned underneath, touching the skin.
  • Adjust the strap so it is snug but not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog's neck.
  • For dogs with thick coats, you may need to trim some fur around the contact points to ensure proper skin contact.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the collar's performance and hygiene.

  • Clean the receiver collar and remote with a damp cloth.
  • Ensure the contact points on the receiver are clean and free of debris.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

2. Battery Care

To prolong battery life:

  • Fully charge the devices before long periods of inactivity.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • The remote has a standby time of up to 90 days, and the receiver up to 30 days on a full charge.

3. Waterproofing

The receiver collar is IP67 waterproof and dustproof, allowing your dog to wear it during activities like bathing, splashing, and swimming. Ensure the charging port's rubber cap is securely closed when not charging to maintain its waterproof integrity.

4. Replacing Metal Prongs and Using Silicone Caps

The collar comes with removable metal prongs. Silicone caps are provided to cover these prongs, which can enhance comfort for your dog and reduce direct contact with the metal, especially if static stimulation is not frequently used or for sensitive skin.

  • Use the provided test light tool as a wrench to easily remove or attach the metal prongs.
  • Place the conductive silicone caps over the metal prongs if desired. The beep and vibration functions will still operate normally with the caps installed.
