Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires two people. Please follow the steps carefully to ensure proper construction and stability.

Step 1: Prepare the Workspace and Identify Parts

Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay out all panels and hardware. Refer to the included diagram for part identification. The bookcase measures approximately 24.4 inches (W) x 11.6 inches (D) x 44.1 inches (H).

Step 2: Assemble the Frame

Attach the side panels to the top and bottom panels using the provided hardware (dowels and cam locks). Ensure all connections are secure and flush. The design includes safety plates for enhanced stability.

Step 3: Install Shelves

Insert the fixed shelf into its designated grooves. The two adjustable shelves can be placed at various heights using the shelf pins. These shelves can be adjusted up and down by 3.5 cm (1.38 inches) to accommodate items of different sizes.

Step 4: Attach Back Panel and Anti-Toppling Device

Secure the back panel to the frame. Finally, install the anti-toppling device (back-fastener) to the top rear of the bookcase and anchor it to a wall stud. This is a critical safety step to prevent the bookcase from tipping over, especially in households with children or pets.

Adjust the foot pads at the base of the bookcase to ensure it stands level and stable on uneven floors.
