Your Holstein Housewares Portable Electric Double Burner consists of the following main components:

  • Dual Coil Burners: Two independent heating elements for cooking.
  • Independent Control Knobs: One knob for each burner, with settings for OFF, LO (Low), MED (Medium), and HI (High).
  • Indicator Lights: Lights that illuminate when a burner is active.
  • Stainless Steel Housing: The durable and easy-to-clean exterior of the unit.
  • Anti-Slip Feet: Rubberized feet on the base to ensure stability during use.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the double burner from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or disposal.
  2. Placement: Place the appliance on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation and to prevent heat damage to surrounding surfaces. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  3. Initial Use (Burn-Off): Before first use, operate the burner without cookware for approximately 5-10 minutes on the 'HI' setting. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and may produce a slight smoke or odor. This is normal and will dissipate. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.
