3. Control Panel

Button Functions:
- Humidity Setting: Adjusts the desired humidity level.
- Timer: Sets the 24-hour timer for automatic on/off.

Indicator Lights:
- DEFROST: Illuminates when the unit is in defrost mode.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials and ensure no components are missing or damaged.
4.2 Placement
- Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around the air inlet and outlet for proper airflow.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- The unit is suitable for rooms up to 20 m² (215 sq ft), such as bathrooms, small cellars, bedrooms, cupboards, laundry rooms, and kitchen storage areas.
4.3 Drainage Options
Your dehumidifier offers two methods for water drainage:

4.3.1 Manual Emptying (Water Tank)
- When the 2.5 L water tank is full, the "TANK FULL" indicator light will illuminate, the unit will beep, and operation will stop.
- Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Empty the collected water.
- Slide the empty water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.
4.3.2 Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose)
- For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, attach the provided drain hose.
- Locate the continuous drainage outlet on the back of the unit.
- Remove the rubber stopper (if present).
- Connect one end of the drain hose to the outlet.
- Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain, such as a floor drain or a large container. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow water to flow freely by gravity.
- Do not allow the hose to be kinked or blocked.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the Power button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.
5.2 Setting Desired Humidity
- Press the Humidity Setting button repeatedly to cycle through desired humidity levels (e.g., 40%, 50%, 60%, Continuous).
- The unit will operate until the ambient humidity reaches the set level, then it will cycle off. It will restart when humidity rises above the set level.
- Selecting "Continuous" mode will make the unit run continuously regardless of the humidity level.
5.3 Fan Speed Adjustment
- Press the Speed button to switch between Low and High fan speeds.
- Low speed offers quieter operation, while High speed provides faster dehumidification.
5.4 Timer Function
- Press the Timer button to set the desired operating duration (1-24 hours).
- The timer can be set to automatically turn the unit on or off after the specified time.
- To set an auto-off timer: With the unit running, press the Timer button and select the desired hours.
- To set an auto-on timer: With the unit off, press the Timer button and select the desired hours. The unit will turn on after the set time.

5.5 Automatic Defrost Function
- The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic defrost function.
- If the ambient temperature drops below 32°F (0°C), frost may form on the evaporator coils.
- The unit will automatically enter defrost mode, indicated by the "DEFROST" light. During this time, the compressor will turn off, and the fan will continue to run to melt the frost.
- Operation will resume automatically once defrosting is complete.

5.6 Operating Modes (Auto, Dry, Fan)

- Auto Mode: The unit automatically adjusts its operation based on the ambient humidity to maintain the set level.
- Dry Mode: Designed for continuous dehumidification, often used for drying laundry or in very damp conditions.
- Fan Mode: The fan operates without the compressor, circulating air without removing moisture.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter (usually at the back or side of the unit).
- Gently pull out the filter.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Alternatively, use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the filter.
- Reinsert the dry filter into the unit.
6.2 Cleaning the Water Tank
Clean the water tank periodically to prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Remove the water tank.
- Wash the tank with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Dry the tank completely before placing it back into the unit.
6.3 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.
6.4 Storage
If the unit will not be used for an extended period:
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Empty and clean the water tank.
- Clean the air filter.
- Store the unit in an upright position in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
