5.4 Discharge Pipe Connection

Connect the macerator pump's discharge outlet to the main sewage line. The system can pump vertically up to 39 feet and horizontally up to 390 feet. Ensure the discharge pipe has a continuous slope towards the main sewage line to prevent backflow and ensure efficient drainage.

5.5 Electrical Connection

Plug the macerator pump into a properly grounded 110V-120V/60Hz electrical outlet. It is recommended to use a dedicated circuit for the pump.

6. Operating Instructions

The WinZo WZ5811-900 Macerating Toilet System operates automatically. When the toilet is flushed or waste water enters the macerator from connected fixtures, the pump will activate to discharge the waste.

6.1 Dual Flush Operation

The toilet features a dual flush mechanism for water conservation:

  • Partial Flush (1.1 GPF): Press the smaller button on the flush plate for liquid waste.
  • Full Flush (1.6 GPF): Press the larger button on the flush plate for solid waste.

Selecting the appropriate flush volume helps save water and reduces your utility bill.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your macerating toilet system.

7.1 Cleaning

  • Clean the toilet bowl and exterior regularly with standard toilet cleaners. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the porcelain or plastic components.
  • Do not pour harsh chemicals (e.g., drain cleaners, paint thinners) into the toilet, as they can damage the macerator pump's internal components and seals.

7.2 System Checks

  • Periodically check all plumbing connections for leaks.
  • Listen for unusual noises from the macerator pump during operation, which could indicate an obstruction or mechanical issue.
  • Ensure the electrical cord is free from damage and securely plugged in.

For any internal maintenance or repairs of the macerator pump, it is recommended to contact a qualified technician.
