5. Setup and Charging

5.1 Charging the Jump Starter

  1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C input port on the jump starter.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB wall adapter (not included).
  3. The digital display will show the charging progress. The unit is fully charged when the display shows 100%.

5.2 Checking Battery Level

Press the power button once to check the current battery level on the digital display.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

The Povasee A6 can jump start 12V vehicles with up to 9L gas or 8L diesel engines.

  1. Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged.
  2. Insert the smart jumper cable plug firmly into the jump start port on the unit.
  3. Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle battery.
  4. Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle battery.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light on the smart clamp will turn green, indicating it's ready to jump start. If the light is red or flashing, check connections or refer to troubleshooting.
  6. Start the vehicle's engine.
  7. Once the engine starts, immediately remove the smart jumper cables from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds, then disconnect from the jump starter.
  8. If the vehicle does not start on the first attempt, wait at least 1 minute before trying again. If the battery voltage is extremely low (below 9V), press the "RST" button on the smart clamp to activate boost mode, then attempt to start the engine.
