4. Setup Instructions

  1. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the designated port on the side of the phone base labeled 'HANDSET'.
  2. Connect to Telephone Line: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the 'TEL-LINE' port on the back of the phone base. Plug the other end into your wall telephone jack.
  3. Optional Extension Line: If you have an additional telephone device, you can connect it to the 'EXT-LINE' port on the back of the phone base using another telephone line cord.

5. Operation

5.1 Making a Call

  1. Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER button to activate the speakerphone.
  2. Dial the desired telephone number using the large numeric keypad.
  3. Wait for the call to connect.
  4. To end the call, place the handset back on the cradle or press the SPEAKER button again if using speakerphone.

5.2 Receiving a Call

  1. When the phone rings and the visual ringer flashes, pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER button to answer.
  2. To end the call, place the handset back on the cradle or press the SPEAKER button.

5.3 Using One-Touch Photo Buttons

  1. Storing a Number:
    • Pick up the handset.
    • Press the STORE button.
    • Dial the telephone number you wish to save.
    • Press one of the three photo buttons (e.g., 'FAMILY', 'FRIEND', 'EMERGENCY') to assign the number.
    • Replace the handset.
  2. Making a Call with a Photo Button:
    • Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER button.
    • Press the desired photo button. The phone will automatically dial the stored number.
