1. Introduction

The AceGamer Aurora Generation Wireless Bluetooth Controller is designed to enhance your gaming experience across multiple platforms, including PC, Switch, iOS, and Android. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of your controller.

2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, please verify that all items are present in your package:

  • 1x Wireless Controller
  • 1x TYPE-C Data Cable
  • 1x Wireless Receiver (2.4G USB Dongle)
  • 1x User Manual

2.2 Charging the Controller

The controller is equipped with a built-in 1000mAh rechargeable battery. To charge the controller:

  1. Connect the supplied TYPE-C data cable to the charging port on the top of the controller.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., PC USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The indicator lights on the controller will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours and provides approximately 8 hours of playtime.

2.3 Connecting the Controller

The AceGamer Aurora controller supports three connection modes:

2.3.1 2.4G Wireless Connection (Recommended for PC)

  1. Insert the 2.4G wireless receiver (USB dongle) into an available USB port on your PC or compatible device.
  2. On the controller, press and hold the 'B' button, then simultaneously press and hold the 'HOME' button for 3 seconds.
  3. The controller will enter pairing mode, and the indicator lights will flash. Once successfully paired, the lights will become solid.

2.3.2 Bluetooth Connection (for Switch, iOS, Android, PC)

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device (Switch, iOS, Android, or PC).
  2. On the controller, press and hold the 'HOME' button for 3 seconds.
  3. The controller will enter pairing mode. On your device, search for new Bluetooth devices and select "AceGamer Controller" (or similar) from the list.
  4. Once successfully paired, the indicator lights on the controller will become solid.

2.3.3 Wired Connection (for PC)

  1. Connect the supplied TYPE-C data cable to the charging port on the controller.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your PC.
  3. The controller will automatically be recognized by your PC as a wired gamepad. No additional drivers are typically required.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Hall Effect Joysticks

The controller features advanced Hall Effect joysticks, which use magnetic fields instead of physical contacts. This technology provides:

  • No Latency: Instantaneous response to inputs.
  • Long Life: Reduced wear and tear compared to traditional joysticks.
  • No Dead Zone: Full range of motion is recognized.
  • Anti-Drift: Prevents unintended input, ensuring precise control.

3.2 Linear Motors (Vibration Adjustment)

The dual linear motors provide haptic feedback for an immersive gaming experience. The vibration intensity can be adjusted:

  • There are five grades of vibration intensity. Refer to the controller's specific button combinations in the included quick start guide for adjustment.

3.3 Customizable Back Keys (M1/M2)

The controller features two programmable back buttons (M1 and M2) that can be assigned to various functions or button combinations:

  • Programming: The 16 base keys (A, B, X, Y, R, L, ZR, ZL, D-Pad) can be extended to M1/M2. Consult the quick start guide for detailed programming steps.
  • Anti-Touch Switches: Each back button has a physical switch to enable or disable it, preventing accidental presses during intense gameplay.

3.4 RGB Lighting Effects

The controller features customizable RGB lighting around the joysticks. You can choose from 7 color combinations and 5 diverse lighting modes (Brightness, Breathing, Colorful, Fade-Off).

3.5 Directional Lock (8-Way to 4-Way)

The D-Pad can be switched between 8-way and 4-way directional input modes. This can be useful for different game genres.

  • To switch modes, press and hold the 'T' button and then press the D-Pad.
  • Note: This function is not saved after the controller is powered off.

3.6 ABXY Key Swap (Game Operation Mode Adjustment)

The controller defaults to XBOX button layout (A, B, X, Y). For compatibility with Nintendo Switch, you can swap the ABXY button functions.

  • To swap the ABXY keys, press and hold the 'T' button and then press the 'Screenshot' button. This will adjust to N-S mode.
  • Note: This function is not saved after the controller is powered off.

3.7 FPS Mode (Professional Joystick No Dead Zone)

For precision-demanding games like First-Person Shooters, activate FPS mode to eliminate joystick dead zones.

  • To activate FPS mode, press and hold the 'T' button and then press L3/R3 (press the left or right joystick down) for 3 seconds.
  • Note: This function is not saved after the controller is powered off.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AceGamer Aurora controller, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the controller. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. For long-term storage, charge the controller to about 50% to prolong battery life.
  • Avoid Drops: Protect the controller from drops and impacts, which can damage internal components.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your AceGamer Aurora controller, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
