5. Setup Guide

5.1 Connecting the Soundbar

1. Subwoofer Connection: Connect the wired subwoofer cable to the dedicated subwoofer output port on the main soundbar unit.
2. Power Connection: Plug the power adapter into the DC IN port on the soundbar, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.

5.2 Input Connections

The Bassbox X250 offers multiple ways to connect to your audio sources:

• HDMI (ARC): For optimal audio quality and control, connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar to the HDMI ARC port on your TV. This allows audio to be sent from the TV to the soundbar and enables control via the TV remote.
• Optical: Connect an optical cable from the soundbar's OPTICAL port to your TV's optical audio output.
• AUX: Use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the soundbar's AUX port to the audio output of your device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player).
• USB: Insert a USB drive into the USB port to play audio files directly from the drive.
• Bluetooth Pairing:
  1. Press the 'MODE' button on the remote or soundbar until 'BT' appears on the LED display.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
  3. Search for 'Boult Bassbox X250' in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
  4. Once connected, the soundbar will indicate successful pairing.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power button on the soundbar or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

6.2 Volume Control

Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the remote or soundbar to adjust the volume level.

6.3 Input Source Selection

Press the MODE or INPUT button on the remote control to cycle through the available input sources (HDMI ARC, Optical, AUX, USB, Bluetooth).

6.4 EQ Modes

The soundbar features three preset Equalizer (EQ) modes to optimize audio for different content types:

• Power: Turns the soundbar on/off.
• Mute: Mutes/unmutes the sound.
• VOL+/VOL-: Adjusts volume.
• MODE/INPUT: Switches input sources.
• Play/Pause, Previous/Next: Controls media playback (for USB/Bluetooth modes).
• TREB+/TREB-: Adjusts treble levels.
• BASS+/BASS-: Adjusts bass levels.
• EQ Mode Buttons (Movie, Music, News): Selects sound presets.

7. Maintenance
