5.1 Choosing a Location

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Initial Power On

  1. After all connections are made and the battery type is selected, turn on the main power switch on the inverter.
  2. The Power LED (Green) should illuminate.

6.2 Normal Operation (Grid Power Available)

When grid power is available, the system operates in charging mode:

  • The connected sump pump(s) and other devices will be powered directly by the grid.
  • The built-in 25A charger will automatically charge the connected 12V battery. The "Fully Charged Indicator" will show the charging status.
  • The LCD remote controller will show the charging status and battery voltage.

6.3 Power Outage Operation (Battery Backup)

In the event of a power outage, the system automatically switches to battery power:

  • The system will detect the loss of grid power and instantly switch to inverter mode within 12ms.
  • The sump pump(s) and other connected devices will continue to operate, powered by the battery through the inverter.
  • The LCD remote controller will display the battery voltage and the power being drawn by the connected loads.
  • When grid power is restored, the system will automatically switch back to grid power and resume charging the battery.
